Two new girls are in the shop! A great deal of my drawings have been the type of girls that made me fall in love with drawing as a little girl myself....CUTESY.
I think everyone goes through phases of when you sit down to create (draw, write, sew, etc) different versions of the same subject come out again and again....and I am in a real girl/ character phase. And they must have eyelashes: )
It is some of the most relaxing drawing I do when I draw characters....sometimes I feel like I should be drawing other things. I don't know why, I think it's that "this is too much fun...and work shouldn't be this much fun" kind of thing.
You would think after 5 years of doing this full time I would be able to accept that I LIKE what I do for a living...
Now that you know the psychology of it I hope you like the images too : )
In other news, this week drew is off from teaching (then summer term starts) so I have him for a full week and yard work is in the forecast!! I started a project and then abandoned it and now I need to finish it...you know, 2 months later : /
