It's Like A Party
In addition to painting for the show I am also going to be sending Velocity some more paintings very soon, including the above painting "It's Like A Party". This painting is continuing the stump theme :) and is acrylic, ink, pencil, and vintage book pages on 10 x 10 x .75 canvas.
Today is just a work/shipping day in these parts. And I am semi impatiently awaiting ups to bring me fun things.
And I won the best thing ever from ebay on Sunday which I can absolutely not wait to get and I promise to share as soon as I do. eeehhh!

I love the little concentric rings of happy dots around the stumps! It's like each stump has it's own confetti halo :) It is indeed like a party!

I had to click on the image to get the full, glorious effect. How do you churn out such quality art so often? You're a machine! They'll make movies about you! I love the subtle color of the doodle dots...

I too love the dot technique. I use dots for a lot of my shading. I work in mostly ink so they don't really mean the same design wise but be it ink or paint I love it! Great job!
