A Big 'Un
Hello all! So this week has been a bit crazy. My computer died and now is kind of working but all my email is gone except for maybe the last week of messages and those are not in my email account but on the server? I don't even know what I am talking about. Drew is trying to solve the minor catastrophe for me. All I know is that I have four emails where once there were like three thousand. So, you know all the emails I "was going to get to" well....hmm.
In other news here are some paintings that I have been working on this week.
10x10 acrylic and paper on canvas
6x8 paper and acrylic on canvas
I know I showed a picture of this one before, but it wasn't finished.
6x8 acrylic and paper on canvas
6x12 acrylic, ink, and paper on canvas
and this one is actually here!
And this is here...
as is this
and this
And this
All the illustrations are 9x12 and on heavy weight paper.
Also there is only three days (including today) to get HELLO October
I'm sad to see it go...but that means HELLO November is right around the corner!
Also I am thoroughly enjoying making little people animals or maybe animal peoples such as these three tiny originals.
Others like them will be in the shop but these are going to live here until they find a home of their own. Also going to Gallery Revisited are lots more tiny originals, plush goodies, and embroidered illustrations. Gallery Revisited was the first gallery to contact me. I am consistently impressed with their artists and what they carry and always have to pinch myself that I send my artwork there.
Speaking of pinching myself I am so so so excited to announce that I will be in a group show this summer that the lovely Susan is having at her gallery. You can check out her AMAZING online shop. I am so proud that she carries these two exclusive prints of mine.
Lots of bloggers and blog readers out there know her and I have to say she is one of the nicest most encouraging people I have met in the blog world :)
Ok enough already. This is a GIANT post and I hope to be back with lots more this week. I would love to tell you all the fun stuff I've been doing. But it's been lots of work with breaks for walking up to get coffee, stare at fall colors and back to work. After this week, things will settle down for orders and du du du...gear up for the holidays!! Yeah!
And for those of you who daylight savings ended for...go enjoy your extra hour :)

Wow, so much great new work. Someday you are going to have to share with me how you stay so focused and productive...I have such a hard time with that!

mmmm I love how a lot of them don't have feet. I don't draw feet either. and often i don't draw faces. or hands. I can't do a lot of details like that. My favourite one is the floating baby bear-like thing.
